Abstract

This study was conducted to scrutiny the effect of eight weeks perceptual-motor exercising on static balance of Taekwondo players of Kermanshah. In this study, 80 children aged 6 to 8 years old were randomly selected from the city of Kermanshah and the effect of perceptual - motor as independent variables on children's balance were assessed. Balance with the force plate were measured. Subjects were randomly divided into four groups; two control groups, two active groups and equal number of gender in each group. First of all, subjects were tested by pre-test, then the 40 subjects in the experimental group were performed perceptual-motor exercises Which consists of three section; warm-up and stretching exercises, specific movements of perceptual-motor and combination and professional Perceptual-motor activities eight weeks; three times a week while 40 subjects in the control group do their usual activities in this eight weeks.
