The impact of quantum management on conflict management and organizational agility (case study: Ministry of Sports and Youth)

Abstract

Introduction and purpose: In today’s world, which is full of environmental changes and challenges, sports organizations need agility and the ability to respond to changes in order to survive and compete. This ability depends on the management skills of the organization’s managers. Quantum management is one of the new approaches in management that can help create agility and resolve conflict in the organization. The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of quantum management on conflict management and organizational agility in the Ministry of Sports and Youth.
Methodology: This research is of descriptive-correlational type and has been conducted by field method. The statistical population consists of 150 middle and operational managers of the Ministry of Sports and Youth in 1398. The data collection tools are questionnaires of quantum management skills, conflict management and organizational agility, which have been calculated for their reliability by Cronbach’s alpha method. The data were analyzed using SPSS and Pls software and using structural equation method.
Findings: The results showed that quantum management skills have a positive and significant relationship with conflict management and organizational agility and quantum management has a direct effect on these two variables. Also, quantum management can reduce the contradictions and dualities in the organization and help create coordination and harmony among the members of the organization.
Conclusion: This research showed that quantum management can help improve organizational performance and responsiveness to environmental changes in sports organizations and requires the promotion of management skills of managers. This research can be useful for sports managers and researchers in the field of sports management.
