The Effect of Designing Sport Facilities and Its Elements on Perceived Quality and Customer Satisfaction (A Case Study of Sport Facilities in Western Provinces of Iran)

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of design and its elements on customer satisfaction and perceived quality of sporting facilities in the western provinces of the country (Kermanshah, Hamadan, ilam and Lorestan) in 1380s decades. The research method was descriptive and correlational And the statistical society of this research includes 4000 clients of Indoor sports hall in the western part of the country that have a history of six months of physical activity. By random sampling method, available and targeted sampling method and according to Cochran formula, 400 individuals were selected as sample size. .In order to collect data, three questionnaires were used including designing places, service quality and satisfaction questionnaires with Likert scale. The faculty and content validity of questionnaires were reviewed and approved by some professors and sports management specialists and the reliability of the questionnaire was 0.89, 0.84 and 0.85, respectively, using Cronbach's alpha. Descriptive statistics and inferential statistics such as Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, one-way ANOVA and Pearson correlation coefficient were used to analyze the data.The results of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between the design of the premises and its elements on the satisfaction of the customers of western sports facilities in the provinces of Ilam, Hamadan, Lorestan and Kermanshah. Also, the results of the research showed that there is a significant relationship between the design of the premises and its elements on perceived quality of sporting facilities in the west of the country
