Abstract

Introduction and purpose: A good coach, using his knowledge and experience, can improve the performance of athletes and ultimately, the success of his team. Based on this, the aim of this research is to investigate the role of professional ethics in the efficiency of football coaches in Hamadan province.



Methodology: The research method is descriptive-correlation and applied in terms of purpose. The statistical population in the present study includes all the 3rd, 2nd and 1st grade football coaches of Hamadan province, and 68 of them are included in the statistical sample through targeted sampling.

The statistical population in the present study includes all football coaches of Hamadan province, 68 of whom were included in the statistical sample. in order to collect information, the 16-question questionnaire of Kaduzir's professional ethics and the GSE-17 general self-efficacy questionnaire, which includes 17 questions and components of educational, occupational and social self-efficacy, were used. Analysis of data and hypotheses was done using Kolmogorov Smirnov tests for normality of data distribution and Spearman's correlation coefficient and regression.

Results: The results showed that there is no significant relationship between professional ethics and educational and social efficiency. There is only a significant relationship between professional ethics and job efficiency (P≤0. 0001).

Conclusion: The results showed that job self-efficacy predicts the professional ethics of educators, so it is clear that professional ethics includes a system of moral values for moral judgments that provide guidelines for solving ethical behaviors. and provides professional judgment, is positively influenced by self-efficacy.
