Abstract
Introduction: Play and physical activity are important and influential factors in children's general health. The main purpose of this research is the relationship between physical activity score and lipid profile and body composition in early adolescence.

materials and methods: The current research is descriptive-survey type, the statistical population was male students aged 10-12 years old from schools in Nahavand city. G-power software was used to determine the sample size, and the number of people was estimated to be 50, and this number was included in the study as a cluster. International physical activity questionnaire for children and adolescents is used to check physical activity Inbody Composition 270 device was used to analyze the body composition, Blood sampling was done to measure lipid profile. SPSS software and Pearson and Spearman correlation coefficients were used to analyze the data. P < 0.05.

Findings: After examining the scores of physical activity in three categories, we found that physical activity has an inverse relationship with high-density lipoprotein, low-density lipoprotein, body mass index, waist-to-hip ratio. Moderate physical activity has an inverse relationship with body fat mass. Also, after Spearman's correlation coefficient, we found that triglyceride has an inverse and significant relationship with high physical activity, P<0.05.

Conclusion: This study showed that physical activity can have a positive effect on some blood lipid profiles as well as body composition in male students who are in early adolescence.
