Compilation of the strategic plan of the Shooting Federation of the Islamic Republic of Iran

Abstract
Introduction and purpose: Nowadays, marketing has become a central strategy in sports organizations. Therefore, the purpose of the current research is to design and formulate the development strategies of the shooting federation.

Methodology: The current research is descriptive-analytical in terms of its practical purpose, in terms of data collection method. The statistical population of this research is made up of all the employees and managers of the shooting federation and athletes at the national level in the field of shooting, and 132 people were selected as a sample using the Morgan table method. The tool of data collection in the present study is a researcher-made questionnaire. This questionnaire was designed in four parts: opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses. In order to analyze the data, SPSS version 22 software was used

Results: Based on the results of the current study, the presence of the Ministry of Sports and Youth is the most important strength, the lack of attitude of the federation's management towards the marketing of sports is the most important weakness, the support of the Ministry of Sports and Youth to the federations in the field of marketing is the most important opportunity, and the lack of access of activists and investors to the economic information of the federation was recognized as the most important threat in the development of the shooting federation.

Conclusion: Federations should have long-term planning for their development and conclusions in the long term, and qualified and expert managers should be employed for development and progress.
