چکیده
Introduction and purpose : Yoga and exercise are two complementary methods that play a significant role in preventing and improving injuries, musculoskeletal, and mental health in athletes. The purpose of this abstract is to investigate the impact of combining yoga and exercise on preventing and improving injuries, musculoskeletal, and mental health in athletes.

Methodology:The study population consisted of professional and amateur athletes from various sports. The sample size was 100 professional athletes and 100 amateur athletes. The research design was a randomized controlled trial with two groups: the experimental group (yoga and exercise) and the control group (exercise only). The sampling method was random sampling from professional and amateur athletes in various sports. The measurement tools used were questionnaires and medical tests to assess injuries, musculoskeletal, and mental health. The data analysis was performed using SPSS software and statistical tests such as t-test and variance analysis.

Results:Yoga helped athletes prevent injuries, overcome depression and anxiety, and improve their quality of life and physical and mental well-being. This exercise also improved flexibility and joint mobility, which ultimately reduced the risk of injuries. Yoga was also found to be an effective therapeutic method for mental health issues, helping athletes overcome depression and anxiety.

Conclusion:Combining yoga and exercise is a significant complementary method for athletes, particularly in preventing and improving injuries, musculoskeletal, and mental health. These methods help athletes prevent injuries, overcome depression and anxiety, and improve their quality of life and physical and mental well-being.
