Introduction and purpose : Musculoskeletal abnormalities in students can affect their quality of life and psychosocial functioning. Multi-dimensional exercises (stretching, strengthening, balance) can play a role in improving these abnormalities and enhancing the quality of life and psychosocial functioning of these students. The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of multi-dimensional exercises (stretching, strengthening, balance) on musculoskeletal abnormalities and quality of life and psychosocial functioning in students with musculoskeletal abnormalities.
Methodology: This is a semi-experimental study with a pre-post design. In this design, the experimental group consists of students with musculoskeletal abnormalities who engage in multi-dimensional exercises (stretching, strengthening, balance), and the control group consists of students with musculoskeletal abnormalities who engage in regular exercises. Before starting the exercises, initial data on musculoskeletal abnormalities and quality of life and psychosocial functioning of students are collected. Then, the experimental group engages in multi-dimensional exercises (stretching, strengthening, balance) and the control group engages in regular exercises.
Results: The results of this study show that multi-dimensional exercises (stretching, strengthening, balance) can be effective in improving musculoskeletal abnormalities and enhancing quality of life and psychosocial functioning in students with musculoskeletal abnormalities.
Conclusion: This study can contribute to a better understanding of the effect of multi-dimensional exercises (stretching, strengthening, balance) on musculoskeletal abnormalities and quality of life and psychosocial functioning in students with musculoskeletal abnormalities. The results of this study can be used in planning exercises for students with musculoskeletal abnormalities.
