Introduction and purpose: The first step towards successful education is the factors that are checked on the quality of teachers' activities Therefore, in this current research, we will predict job self-efficacy based on psychological empowerment and personality traits in teachers of Nahavand city.
materials and methods: The current research is correlational and predictive and was carried out in the form of path analysis. The statistical population of this research was all the teachers of Nahavand city (1st high school period) in the academic year of 1402-1403 in the number of 275 people, and the sample size was based on the formula of Topaching and Fidel (2013), 110 people were selected by multi-stage cluster sampling method. The tools used in this research were general self-efficacy questionnaire, psychological empowerment questionnaire and neo personality questionnaire. Data were analyzed using correlation and multiple regression statistical methods using SPSS software.
Findings: The results showed that there is a significant and positive relationship between psychological empowerment and personality traits with job self-efficacy (p<0.05).
Conclusion: Psychological empowerment and personality traits have been able to predict teachers' job self-efficacy. The results have an implicit application for the education and training organization.
