Introduction :This study aimed to develop a comprehensive framework for the strategic analysis and prioritization of key components of “professionalization” and “economic development” in Iranian women’s futsal. Given the existing structural gaps in professional systems and the need for sustainable financial resources, this research seeks to map the development pathway of women’s futsal toward excellence and economic efficiency using the QSPM approach.

Methodology:This research is applied in terms of purpose and descriptive–analytical in nature, following a mixed-methods (qualitative–quantitative) approach. The statistical population included women’s futsal experts (managers, coaches, referees, and elite athletes), from whom 16 individuals were selected through purposive and snowball sampling until theoretical saturation was reached. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, and qualitative analysis was conducted via coding using MAXQDA software. In the quantitative and strategic phase, after identifying factors through the SWOT matrix, final strategy prioritization was carried out using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM) and analyzed with SPSS and Excel software.

Results:The findings indicated that Iranian women’s futsal comprises 17 strengths, 40 weaknesses, 13 opportunities, and 11 threats, placing it in the WO (Weakness–Opportunity) strategic position. Accordingly, a vision for the horizon of 1410 was formulated, targeting third place in Asia and tenth place in the world. Among the 26 developed strategies, QSPM results showed that “establishment of a professional league,” “development of dedicated infrastructure,” and “attraction of sustainable sponsors and activation of the economic sector” held the highest priority for transforming this discipline.
