The aim of the present study was to identify and prioritize the issues faced by athletes in the national teams of the blind and visually impaired. The research method was descriptive-survey and conducted in the field. The statistical population included athletes from the national teams of the blind and visually impaired, who participated in athletics, Goalball, and Swimming. The sample size was equal to the statistical population and was selected through convenience sampling (150 individuals). The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire, comprising 40 questions across five dimensions: social, personal, technical, managerial, and economic, scored on a five-point Likert scale. The questionnaire's validity was confirmed by 11 experts in physical education and sports sciences, and its reliability was established using Cronbach's alpha coefficient (0.86). Statistical methods including mean, frequency percentage, Factor loadings and Shared variance percentage and Friedman's rank test were used with the help of SPSS software version 20. The results indicated that economic issues were the top priority, identified as the most significant concern for blind and visually impaired national team athletes, while social issues were ranked fifth and considered the least significant. The findings of this study can be presented to organizations such as the Federation of the Blind, the National Paralympic Committee, and physical education authorities in the country who are connected with the blind and visually impaired national team athletes. This will enable the responsible authorities to take necessary measures to address these issues and motivate blind and visually impaired national team athletes.
